What are cookies?¶
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you use the service. They help the service remember your preferences and work better.
The cookies we use¶
Essential cookies. They keep the service running. At present there is one: ptw_cookie_consent, which stores your answer about analytics and lasts one year. Once the personal account is launched, a session identifier and an authorisation token will join it. Essential cookies cannot be switched off: without them the service does not work.
Functional data. These remember your settings in the demonstration section. We keep them in browser storage rather than in cookies, and they stay on your device. The page language is set by its address and is not stored separately.
Analytics cookies. These show us how visitors interact with the service by collecting usage data. We use that information to improve the service. They are set only after you press “Accept”. Yandex.Metrica includes Webvisor, which records what you do on the page, including what you type into the fields of the demonstration section, so enter fictitious details there.
Where the data goes¶
Analytics data is processed by Yandex LLC on its own servers in Russia. It goes to no one else; we neither sell nor trade it. How Yandex handles this data is set out in its own policy: https://yandex.ru/legal/confidential/
Managing cookies¶
You can manage cookies through the consent banner that appears on your first visit.
You can withdraw your consent to analytics at any time: delete our cookies in your browser settings - the banner will appear again on your next visit and you can choose “Decline”. You can also send your withdrawal to support@ptwhub.com. If you block all cookies, essential ones included, part of the service will stop working.
